Of course, it does, but is there anyone travelling now?

This is the number one question I’m asked most often, and the answer is YES. Covid globally impacted the travel and tourism industry in the worst possible way. Government requirements including multiple travel restrictions have certainly challenged the system but this has not stopped those that are willing and able to do so.

By no means, this message is meant for pushing travel, especially now. I utterly understand and appreciate those valid concerns and respect the diversity of opinions continuously circulating. I have experienced many setbacks in the travel industry, the ripple effect of any negative news story can bring disastrous results, and then Covid happened, with legitimate worry and uncertainty, the most destructive of them all. There's no question travel has slowed down or in some places, even halted. However, wanderlusts with incredible enthusiasm are reaching out for future travel. Many clients taking advantage of low pricing whilst enjoying minimum occupancy levels. For those with curiosities and uncertainty, I am answering a billion “welcomed” questions.

More than ever, it’s crucial, to keep up with what is happening in the World of Travel. I continue to build my knowledge by attending informative webinars, obtaining certifications as a “Specialist” mastering specific destinations, hotels & resorts, and a variety of different types of travel. Staying in tune with the latest updates is of significant priority.

I am grateful to be a part of this industry, and these times have brought me to a place of constant reflection, especially yearning for the freedom of travel we had before. Unknowingly, I took it for granted and now I understand, moving forward, it will be an eternal privilege, not because of status, but because we are able. This makes me more determined to keep travel alive in our thoughts and especially in our future. Travel is my profession, and I am confident and excited knowing this wonderful industry I’m a part of will make a dynamic comeback. It will continue, we crave and need it, travel does rejuvenate the soul.
